Massive fire at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, operation underway to douse flames

A massive fire at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has been reported on Friday. The cause of the fire however is yet to be ascertained

Visakhapatnam: A fire incident was reported at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, said reports on Friday. The fire was reportedly massive in nature, reports added. Black fumes were seen bellowing out of the factory.

It is further worth mentioning that, the Fire brigade vehicles immediately reached the spot and brought the fire under control. The news was confirmed by Kesavarao the Steel plant police inspector.

The fire allegedly broke out due to an oil leak in a machine, it spread rapidly as there were cables nearby. The damage to the property is yet to be estimated.
