Mann Ki Baat: PM Modi Addresses Nation On Raksha Bandhan

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed the nation through the 47th edition of his monthly radio show ‘Mann ki Baat’. The show started with PM Modi conveying Raksha Bandhan greetings to people across the country. He further conveyed greetings for Sanskrit Diwas and proclaimed that Sanskrit is the knowledge hub of every aspects of life.

The Prime Minister applauded the efforts of the armed forces, CISF, RAF and NDRF teams and all others involved in the rescue and relief operations in Kerala. He further added that the armed forces personnel were the real heroes as they risked their own lives to save civilians in the ongoing rescue work in Kerala .

PM Modi also remembered late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He said that the sad demise of Atal ji is a huge loss for the entire nation and that the affection and respect for the late PM from people across the country reflected his great personality and the love he commanded from general masses.

The Prime Minister further informed that the Monsoon Session of Parliament has successfully managed to raise its productivity by 118% in Lok Sabha, and by 74% in Rajya Sabha. He added that the Monsoon Session shall always be remembered as an benchmark for social justice and well-being of the youth of this country.
