Major fire tragedy averted in Tulail of Jammu Kashmir by swift action of Indian Army

A major tragedy was averted after the Indian Army and the civil administration doused the fire in Jammu and Kashmir's Tulail.

Jammu and Kashmir: In a swift and coordinated action by Indian Army & civil administration averted a major tragedy at Tulail last night in Jammu and Kashmir.

All the residents, including women were evacuated safely. Prompt cordon drills by local Army dets prevented spread of the fire.

The fire brigade doused the blaze. Medical aid was provided.

In another incident, a tanker carrying chemicals rammed into a truck loaded with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders near Sawarda Puliya in Mauzamabad tehsil, Rajasthan, late on Tuesday night.

This triggered a massive fire on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway. In the accident, one person was killed.
