Doda: CID Counter Intelligence Jammu arrests long-absconding terror accused Mohd. Rafiq Sheikh S/O Ghulam Mohd. Sheikh, a resident of Chakrabhati, Bhaderwah of District Doda of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to reports, the terrorist was wanted in a significant terror-related case registered.
Reports further added that acting on precise intelligence inputs, the dedicated Fugitive Tracking Team of CID-CIJ launched a swift and well-coordinated operation, arresting him from Bus Stand Jammu.
The accused was produced before the Court and has been remanded to judicial custody, reports added.
Recently on July 28, 2025 security forces held a terrorist associate during a joint Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in village Marsary, Chowkibal, Kralpora in Kashmir.
According to reports, the operation was jointly launched by five PARA, 160 Territorial Army, 98 Bn CRPF, Special Operations Group (SOG) Kralpora, and Police Station Kralpora.
During the operation, one individual, identified as Wali Mohd Mir, was apprehended. A huge cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from his possession, which includes one AK-56 rifle, three AK-56 magazines, 1150 rounds of AK-56 ammunition and 17 UBGL grenades.
