Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Sixth Phase Polling underway

New Delhi: The sixth phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 is being held in 59 constituencies across six States and Delhi on Sunday. Polling is being held for 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 10 seats in Haryana, eight constituencies each in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, seven seats in Delhi and four in Jharkhand.

Over 10.17 crore voters are eligible to exercise their constitutional right to choose among the 979 candidates in fray. The Election Commission has set up over 1.13 lakh polling stations for smooth conduct of polls.

The sixth phase will see big names like Yogi Adityanath, Maneka Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Atishi, Gautam Gambhir, Vijender Singh, Sadhvi Pragya and Digvijaya Singh contest. While the campaigning endd on Friday, accusations and charges against opposition candidates were not a rare sight.

Another 59 constituencies across eight States will go to polls in the last phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 19, 2019.
