The holy month of Sawan has arrived. The month is very special for Shiva Devotees. Devotees flock to various Shiva temples from near and far. Keeping this mind, the railways have made special arrangements for the devotees. Railways have made special arrangements for devotees to reach Baba Baidyanath dham conveniently. It includes special trains from Delhi to Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun and Ujjain.
Indian Railways has made special arrangement for the Kanwariyas to ease their journey during Kanwar Yatra. Northern Railways has decided to run Kanwar Special trains keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees during Kanwar Mela 2025.
Apart from the special trains arranged to Baba Baidyanath (Asansol) some regular trains have also been extended to Haridwar.
Taking it to social platform X, Northern Railways has issued list of special trains as well as the route change of the trains for the convenience of the devotees. The post read, “For the convenience of Kanwariyas during Kanwar Mela-2025, Northern Railway has decided to run Kanwar Special Trains, extend the nominated train services upto Haridwar and to provide temporary stoppages to some of existing services.”
