K Annamalai has announced his resignation even after efforts within BJP to convince him to reconsider his quitting decision.
Chennai: Former Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai has announced resignation as Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chief today. BJP Chief Nitin Nabin has accepted his resignation.
Even after despite efforts being made within the party to convince him to reconsider his big decision to quit from the party, Annamalai resigns today.
However, the party still remains hopeful to see if K Annamalai gets convinced and make a decision to stay.

K Annamalai took to his X account and said that he would interact with public through social media platforms in the afternoon timing today itself. In the virtual interaction he is likely to talk about his future plans.
