Sambhal: Famous celebrity hair stylist Javed Habib and his son Anas Habib have reportedly scammed as many as 200 people and fled. They had opened a company called Follicle Global Company.
They had promised that the investors would get a return of 50-75% within a year. And that the father son duo would invest the amount in finance, Bitcoin, and trading.
However later the duo closed down the company and fled overnight.
SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi told ANI, “In Sambhal district, several individuals reported a scam involving lakhs of rupees, committed by Javed Habib, his son Anas Habib, and two others.”
The SP further added, “They organised a fraudulent scheme using the name ‘Follicle Global Company’. They held a meeting at the Royal Palace Hotel, where about 100-150 attendees were promised returns of 50-75% within a year through investments in finance, Bitcoin, and trading.”
“After collecting the funds, they shut down the company and fled. A case has been filed against Javed Habib, Anas Habib, and Saiful at Raisatti Police Station based on multiple complaints, and investigations are ongoing,” the SP informed.
