Jammu & Kashmir to host G20 summit next year

New Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir is all set to host the G20 summit next year. The G20 summit of 2022 will held in Bali, Indonesia towards the end of this year.

The Ministry of External affairs has informed that India’s G20 presidency will begin from 1st Dec 2022. It will be the 1st International summit to be conducted in the J&K, after the withdrawal of the special status under Article 370. It will convene all the leaders of the G20.

The Ministry of External affairs has also said that, the Union minister of textiles and commerce, food and public distribution, Mr.Piyush Goyal has been appointed as the Sherpa for the G20 summit.

G20 is comprised of 19 countries and European Union. In the summit they aim to establish growth, prosperity and financial stability in the global economic sector.
