ISRO launches satellite HysIS from Sriharikota
Sriharikota : The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)successfully launched an earth observation satellite, Hyper Spectral Imaging Satellite (HySIS) from Satish Dhawan Centre here in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday morning.
ISRO’s workhorse rocket PSLV-C43 lifted off with the satellite at 09.58 AM.

30 other micro and nano-satellites of international customers from eight nations were also on board to send the satellites into space.
The Indian satellite HysIS , weighing nearly 380 kgs, will capture the images of the whole earth in multiple frequencies with the mission life of over five years.
