Srinagar: Another drone was spotted near Sunjuwan military station in Jammu on Tuesday. This comes a day after an attempt to target military installation in the region with the aerial object was foiled by the soldiers.
According to reports, the drone was spotted in Kunjwani, Sunjwan and Kaluchak area around 2.30 am.
It is to be noted that this is the third time in three days when drones have been spotted hovering over military installations in Jammu.
Earlier, a drone had dropped two explosive devices on the Jammu airfield.
One exploded near the helicopter parking area and the other exploded few minutes later near the Air Traffic Control in which some by-standers were hurt, but no other significant damage have been reported.
The explosions took place around 1.40 am on Sunday within six minutes of each other. The first blast ripped off the roof of a single-storey building at the technical area of the airport manned by the IAF in Satwari area on the outskirts of the city while the second one was on the ground.
A preliminary probe is underway into the attack.
