Kushinagar: An Indian Air Force Jaguar fighter plane crashed in Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar on Monday.
The pilot of the aircraft however, managed to eject safely with the help of a parachute.
The Jaguar, on a routine mission, had taken off from Gorakhpur airport.
A court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the accident.
This is the second Jaguar plane to have crashed in a year. A similar incident had occurred last year in June wherein a Jaguar plane took off from the Jamnagar air base but crashed soon after.
