India sees rise with 3,824 fresh Covid-19 cases, highest in seven months
India recorded a single-day rise of 3,824 new coronavirus cases, while the active cases increased to 18,389.
New Delhi: India logged 3,824 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. On Saturday, India reported 2,994 fresh coronavirus cases.
The country’s COVID-19 death toll has reached 5,30,881.
The number of active cases in the country has increased to 18389. It rose by 12 percent from yesterday’s 16,354.
The daily positivity rate has been recorded at 2.87 percent and the weekly positivity rate at 2.24 percent, according to data from the Union Health Ministry.
In last 24 hours, 1,784 recovered from the virus an with this total recoveries stand at 4,41,73,335.
