New-Delhi: India reported 25,920 new Covid-19 infections on Friday, while the fatalities stood at 492 in 24 hours, as per the latest data by the Union ministry of health. This brings the country’s cumulative caseload to 4,27,80,235.
A total of 66,254 patients have recovered yesterday and the cumulative tally of recovered patients since the beginning of the pandemic is now at 4,19,77,238. Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.12 per cent.
The reported active COVID-19 cases in India stand at 2,92,092, according to the Union Health Ministry.
India has administered a total of 37,86,806 doses in the last 24 hours, which brings the total tally of doses administered to 1,74,64,99,461.
A total of 12,54,893 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
