India reports slight rise in daily Covid-19 cases, 278 deaths

New-Delhi: India on Wednesday reported a slight rise in daily Covid-19 cases with 15,102 new infections and 278 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to Ministry of Health and Family welfare.

The daily positivity rate was at 1.28 per cent. India’s active caseload currently stands at 1,64,522.

On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said the number of active cases has fallen below two lakh after 49 days.

The total number of people who have recovered from the deadly disease have reached to 4,21,89,887 after 31,377 new recoveries.
