New Delhi: India registered 25,467 daily Covid cases in the last 24 hours, said the Covid bulletin released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday taking the tally to 3,24,74,773.
As many as 354 patients have succumbed to Covid-19, due to which death toll in the country stands at 4,35,110.
India has achieved the recovery rate of 97.68 per cent. As per the data, total 39,486 patients were discharged from the hospitals and health centres in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cured to 3,17,20,112 till date in India.
The active caseload currently stands at 3,19,551, which is lowest since 156 days. The active caseloads constitute 0.98 per cent of total cases, lowest since March 2020, as per the bulletin released by the health ministry.
The weekly positivity rate remains below 3 per cent and is currently at 1.90 per cent. The daily positivity rate currently stands at 1.55 per cent.
Meanwhile, a total of 63,85,298 people have been vaccinated in last 24 hours taking the total to 58,89,97,805 doses being administered, said the bulletin released by the ministry.
As many as 50,93,91,792 samples have been collected up-to August 23 including 16,47,526 samples in the last 24 hours, informed ICMR.
