New-Delhi: India on Saturday has recorded 15,940 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of coronavirus infections to 4,33,78,234.
According to Union Health Ministry data, the number of active cases increased to 91,779 in the country. The active cases comprise 0.21 per cent of the total infections.
The country saw a total of 12,425 discharges in the last 24 hours, taking the total recovery rate at around 98.58 per cent and total recoveries data reached to 4,27,61,481.
Around 196.94 crore Covid vaccine doses have been administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
