IBPS SO Prelims 2018: Admit card released; Know the steps to download

New Delhi: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released the admit card of IBPS Specialist Officers (SO) Preliminary Examination 2018 today.

The candidates can visit the official website – ibps.in  – to download their admit cards for the exam.

The IBPS will conduct the test on 29th December (Saturday) and 30th December (Sunday) across the country as the first stage of the IBPS SO Recruitment 2018.

The candidates who will clear the first stage Preliminary Examination, the result of which is expected to be declared in the first or second week of January 2019, will appear the Mains Examination on 27th January 2019.

The Preliminary Examination will comprise of three sections. While English Language and Reasoning paper will be same for all posts; the third section for the posts of Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari will be General Awareness in context with the banking industry. For other posts, the third section will be Quantitative Aptitude. To qualify the Preliminary Examination round, participants have to meet the minimum cut-off set for all three sections separately.

‘Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination,’ read a statement issued by IBPS.

The IBPS aims to fill undisclosed number vacancies in 20 participating banks for various Scale-I posts including IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer.

Steps to download IBPS SO Admit Card 2018:

Step 1 – Visit the official website – https://ibps.in/

Step 2 – Click on the notification that reads, ‘Click here to Download Online Preliminary Exam Call Letter for CRP Specialist Officers-VIII’

Step 3 – Again click on the notification on the next page

Step 4 – Enter your Registration No / Roll No, Password / DOB(DD-MM-YY) and captcha code and Login

Step 5 – Download your Admit Card and take a printout for further reference
