The Indian Air Force has announced first made-in-india C-295 successful maiden test flight, the aircraft costs around Rs 21,935 crore
New Delhi: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the successful maiden flight test of first made-in-India C-295 on Wednesday.
The Indian Air Force is procuring 56 C-295 transport planes with a cost of Rs 21,935 crore.
As per reports, forty of the aircrafts will be assembled and kept by Tata Advanced Systems Limited in cooperation with Airbus at a production facility in Vadodara.
IAF has announced and congratulated the entire team for the success of first flight on X, it says, “The Indian Air Force congratulates the entire team behind the successful maiden flight of the first India-made C-295.
The achievement reinforces India’s growing aerospace capabilities and underscores the Indian Air Force commitment to fostering indigenous defence capability anirbhar Bharat.
