Wayanad: “I feel like I felt when my father died,” said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wayanad tragedy today. Gandhi visited the landslide-hit Wayanad on Thursday along with sister and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi.
Talking to Kalinga TV Rahul Gandhi said that he is feeling the same sorrow he had felt after his father former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi had died years back.
Rahul and Priyanka today visited Chooralmala to assess the ongoing rescue operations. Rahul Gandhi is the former MP of Wayanad.
Similarly, Priyanka Gandhi said to Kalinga TV that they are with the people. “We all are together in this time of sorrow,” she said.
