The hot air balloon carrying Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav catches fire, rescued safely by security personnel later
Bhopal: In a shocking piece of news from Madhya Pradesh the hot air balloon carrying Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister caught fire, much to the shock of onlookers.
According to reports, a major accident was averted by the security personnel of MP CM Mohan Yadav. As the hot air balloon carrying Madhya Pradesh CM caught fire the security personnel got him out safely. He was unhurt in the incident.
The incident took place when the CM was on a hot air balloon ride at Gandhisagar Forest Retreat in Mandsaur. The balloon could not take ff due to strong winds and its lower part caught fire. CM Mohan Yadav boarded a hot balloon on Saturday morning after spending the night at Hinglaj Resort located near Gandhisagar Forest Retreat.
Ahead of the incident Madhya Pradesh CM shared on his X handle, “Several innovations are being implemented to promote tourism in Gandhi Sagar, Mandsaur. It is even more beautiful than many places in the country and abroad.”
“I invite you to visit as well and enjoy tourism at this place, which is full of natural beauty,” he had further added.
However, the District Collector of Mandsaur Aditi Garg clarified that no such incident has occured and it was a completely safe and monitoring activity. Talking to ANI she said, “A fake news is being circulated on social media handles and other channels that the hot air balloon caught fire. This is totally wrong. No such incident has occurred there.”
She added, “The visuals that are being shown are of the fire that is set intentionally in the balloon so that it inflates. It is a completely safe and monitored activity…”
