Jangaon: A clash broke out between groups of workers of Congress, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) at a polling station in Jangaon of Telangana. The clash occurred amid assembly election in the state.

The situation was brought under control by police present at the scene.

At the same time, in the ongoing Telangana Assembly Election 2023, a 22% voter turnout has been recorded until 10 am today.

Over 32 million votes in Telangana are casting their votes to decide the fate of 2,290 candidates competing for 119 assembly seats.

The polling, which started at 7 am, will continue until 5 pm in 106 constituencies and until 4 pm in 13 Left Wing Extremism (LWE) affected areas. Over 250,000 staff are engaged in poll duties for the assembly elections.

Results for Telangana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram, where voting occurred between November 7 and November 25, will be announced on December 3. Telangana is the final state among these to conduct its elections.
