Girl found dead in Karnataka, people complain as smell emanates from service apartment!

Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a girl was found dead in Karnataka in a service apartment in Bengaluru said reports on Wednesday. Even the police were shocked with the scene.

According to reports, DCP D Devaraja told ANI that “We got information that there is some stinking smell coming from a room in a service apartment in Bengaluru’s Indiranagar.” He further said, “Our officers and forensic team visited and found the body of a lady on the bed. After examination, a murder case was registered at Indiranagar Police Station.”

In the CCTV footage the police found a man identified as Aarav Hanoy (21) from Kerala’s Kannur and a woman, Maya Gogoi (19) from Assam’s Guwahati, checked in at 12:28 PM on November 23. The man checked out at 08:19 AM on November 26.

Later it was however found and the police confirmed that, Aarav Hanoy stabbed the deceased in her chest and several other injuries were found on her body. The deceased was working as a Councilor in Koramangala. The police further said that, “we found a nylon cable and knife in the room as well. We will know further details after arresting the accused.”

The police investigation is underway, the body has been recovered and has been sent for postmortem. The forensic team and the police is probing into the matter. Detailed reports awaited.
