ONGC emergency response teams and fire engines stationed near the site helped neutralize the gas leak in Andhra Pradesh
Konaseema: A gas leak occurred at ONGC Well No. 21 during re-drilling operation at Pasarlapudi village in Mamidikuduru Mandal of Konaseema district in Andhra Pradesh.
According to reports, the situation was swiftly brought under control by ONGC emergency response teams. Fire engines stationed near the site helped neutralize the gas leak and prevent any outbreak of fire.
Further it is worth mentioning that, the ONGC officials confirmed that the situation was stabilized and assured that further drilling would resume only after thorough safety inspections.
The same has been confirmed by Hanumanth Rao, the Fire Department Inspector.
