New-Delhi: At least three people, including a woman and her two daughters, died in a fire that broke out at a house in Delhi’s Lodhi Colony area on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place in BK Dutt Colony.
As per officials, the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) received a call around 10.21 am, following which the firefighters immediately rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
The blaze had engulfed a house on the third floor of the building, a DFS official said. “The firefighters found three bodies, belonging to a woman and her two daughters, on the third floor,” the official said.
The cause of the fire is not unknown.
