New-Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget for 2022-23 in the Parliament at 11 am on Tuesday. The budget will be presented in the Lok Sabha.
Sitharaman will present a statement on the estimated receipts and expenditure of the Government of India for the year 2022-23.
The Finance minister will also present fiscal policy cum fiscal policy strategy statement and macro-economic framework statement under the section 3(1) of the Fiscal Responsibilty and Budget Management Act 2003.
The FM will present and read out the budget 2022 at the Parliament through a tab , instead of the bahi-khata.
