Pulianthop (Tamil Nadu): A 45-year-old father has sexually abused his 6-month-old girl in Pulianthop area of Tamil Nadu, said reports on Monday. The man however was later arrested and has confessed to the heinous crime and has been booked under the POSCO Act.
The events that happened earlier to that are as follows, the police said that the accused lived with his wife and six-month-old daughter. Earlier on Friday, injuries were noticed on the little girl’s head by her mother. She immediately rushed her daughter to the hospital.
Reports say that, it was at the Government Children’s Hospital in Igmore that the doctor examined the girl and found injuries on the her private parts. After finding these injuries, the doctor informed the Child Welfare Committee officials. These officers then lodged a complaint with the police.
The police immediately arrested the accused father and interrogated him. He first denied and later confessed to have committed the sexual act with his daughter.
