Earthquake Of Magnitude 3.6 Hits Assam

Assam: A minor earthquake of 3.6 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Assam on Thursday morning, according to the National Center for Seismology.

The earthquake hit Assam at 10.30 am, with its center located at Latitude 26.55 °N and Longitude 92.39°E with a focal depth of 10 km located at 41 km W of Tezpur.

Earlier on Wednesday, another mild earthquake of 3.5 magnitude hit the state at 07.22 pm with its center located at Latitude 26.68 °N and Longitude 92.39°E with a focal depth of 27 km located at 40 km W of Tezpur.

However, no loss of life or property has been reported as of now.
