Delhi: Delhi pollution continues to cause several issues especially for the children and older people. In most places the AQI was in ‘very poor’ category. Most parts of Delhi was covered in a blanket of smog in the mornings.
According to reports the category of the AQI as per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) remained very poor. A resident told ANI, “We are facing problems. I am an older person. My grandchildren are also suffering the problems while going to school.”
“We are having breathing issues, irritation in the eyes and throat…The reason behind this is the use of vehicles and the main reason is stubble burning…” the resident further said.
Further it is worth mentioning, toxic foam floats on the surface of Yamuna River in the Kalindi Kunj area. A thick layer of smog loomed over the city of Gurugram as air quality continues to deteriorate.
