Cruise drug case: Aryan Khan gets bail

The Bombay High court has granted bail to Aryan Khan and two others in the cruise drug case. He was arrested in the cruise party case by the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB).

The Court has also granted bail to Arbaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha after hearing the arguments for 3 days. The detailed order will be given tomorrow.

Khan was represented by the former advocate general of India Mukul Rohatgi. He made a forceful plea for the 23-year-old and argued that the court has been misled into believing that it is a conspiracy case.

Accordingly, the trio of Khan, Merchant and Dhamecha will not step out of the jails till the court’s orders are received, said a defence lawyer.

Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3 following a drug bust on the Mumbai Cordelia cruise ship and has been denied bail thrice on the matter by Mumbai special court ever since. Apart from him, the agency has arrested over 19 accused in the case so far.
