Covid-19: 125 passengers of Italy-Amritsar flight test positive

Amritsar: A total of 125 passengers of Italy-Amritsar flights have reportedly tested positive for Covid-19. This was informed by Amritsar Airport Director VK Seth on Thursday.

According to VK Seth, Italy-Amritsar flight YU-661 landed at the Amritsar airport at around 1.30 PM yesterday with 179 passengers following which their COVID tests were conducted as Italy is one of the “at risk” countries according to the Union Health Ministry.

However, the reports of 125 passengers turned out to be positive.

Portuguese company EuroAtlantic Airways operates the charter flight between Milan in Italy and Amritsar in Punjab.
