Couple found dead hanging in wedding attire in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: A young couple was found dead, hanging from a ceiling fan in their wedding attire, at their home on Wednesday night in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district. Woman was one and half months pregnant.

The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old Rajendra, also known as Golu, and his 21-year-old wife, Kajal Patel.

The incident took place at Muthiya Tola of Chandpur under Rahli police station area.

As per family members, both the couple had solemnised a love marriage around three years ago. They informed the police after spotting the bodies hanging. The bodies were of the couple were found hanging from the ceiling. Both were clad with their wedding attires.

The police were immediately notified and arrived at the scene, where they recovered the bodies. They were taken to the Community Health Centre in Rahli for post-mortem examination.

During the medical examination, doctors reported that Kajal was around one-and-a-half months pregnant.

The police officials have confirmed that no suicide note was recovered from the scene.
