Congress rule begins in 3 states as CM-designates to take oath today

Bhopal/Jaipur/Raipur: Congress party will begin its rule in three states as the Chief Minister-designates of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh will take the oath of office today.

While veteran leader Kamal Nath will take oath as CM of Madhya Pradesh, Ashok Gehlot and Bhupesh Baghel will take oath as the CMs of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh respectively.

In Rajasthan, youth icon Sachin Pilot will also be sworn-in as the deputy CM of the state.

Many Congress heavyweights including Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Chairperson Sonia Gandhi are slated to attend the oath-taking ceremonies in Bhopal, Jaipur and Raipur. Several oppositions and regional leaders also have been invited for the ceremonies.
