New Delhi: In a rather shocking and distressing incident, an Air India flyer on Bhopal -Mumbai flight AI-634 alleged that he was served a dead cockroach along with his breakfast on board the flight on Saturday morning. The passenger, Rohit Raj Singh Chauhan said he complained to the crew but was ignored.
Chauhan discovered the dead insect in his meal kit, shortly after the crew members had begun serving breakfast on board, reports said. Appalled at the incident, Chauhan claimed that he sought to bring the matter to the crew’s attention. However, the crew chose to ignore his complaints and proceeded to serve breakfast to other guests, the passenger reportedly claimed.

“It was found in the sambhar served in the aircraft. I informed the Air India crew, but they ignored me,” The Times of India quoted Chauhan as saying. “Since the crew members were not listening, I returned it to them. I even objected to their serving food to others, but to no avail,” he said.
As the crew did not pay any heed to his protests, he decided to post the photo on social media. He also filed a complaint with the authorities at the Mumbai airport.
On the other hand, Air India manager Rajendra Malhotra refuted the allegations and said that they had not received any complaint from Bhopal, TOI reported.
