Chandrababu Naidu takes oath as Andhra Chief Minister,PM Modi attend event

Vijawada: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu took oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh at Medha IT Park opposite Gannavaram Airport in Kesarapalli on the outskirts of Vijayawada today for the fourth time.

Along with Naidu, Actor-turned-politician and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan took oath as Deputy Chief Minister.

Nara Lokesh, TDP leader and Mr Naidu’s son also took the oath along with 22 others.

Union Ministers Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Nitin Gadkari, Ramdas Athawale, Anupriya Patel, Chirag Paswan, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, NCP leader Praful Patel and former vice-president M Venkaiah Naidu are attending the swearing-in ceremony of TDP chief & Andhra Pradesh CM-designate N Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada.

This is Chandrababu Naidu’s fourth term as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. In the recently concluded state elections, Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party with major win, bagged 135 of the 175 Assembly seats. TDP’s allies Janasena and BJP won 21 and 8 seats, respectively.
