CBSE Class 12 Exam to begin from today

New Delhi: The  Class 12  exams conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin from today .

The exam will begin with the English paper today from 10.30 am and will continue for three hours. The examinees, however, have to enter the examination hall by 10 am and the question papers will be distributed at 10.15, giving 15 minutes of reading time.

Except their admit cards and pens, the students are not allowed to carry anything to the exam hall.

According to reports, a total of 12,8,359 students are appearing the exam out of which 7,48,498 are boys and 5,38,861 girls. The exams will be held in 4974 exam centres in India and 78 centres outside the country.

In Bhubaneswar region, 70,134 candidates have registered for the exam which will be held 306 centres.

The vocational exam of CBSE had begun from February 15.
