Bus crew saves toddler found crawling in middle of road in Kerala

An accident was narrowly avoided when timely actions of the alert bus staff in Malappuram district averted a possible disaster.

New Delhi: In a hair-raising event that took place in the Malappuram district of Kerala, a bus crew member saw a baby crawling in the middle of the road and stopped the bus just in time, thereby avoiding a potential fatal accident.

The reports stated that the child had apparently strayed away unnoticed to the middle of the road and was moving towards the side of the road when the bus driver and the crew saw him and screeched to an immediate halt.

With an instant response by the bus driver to stop the bus from colliding with the toddler and preventing the potential accident, the public was aghast at the sight of the lone toddler in the middle of the road with the movement of vehicles around the area.

The passengers and the staff who then assisted the child and later searched for the relatives of the baby helped to bring the baby from the middle of the road and soon handed him over to the relatives.

A video clip of the said event has also gone viral on social media, and many praised the sharp senses of the bus staff that prevented the child from meeting a fate of death. Many expressed the risk of child mishaps in their posts.
