New Delhi: An old building collapsed near the Badarpur Border Bypass due to its dilapidated condition. Relief and rescue operations are underway, said reliable reports.
According to sources in the Delhi Police, PCR van, fire brigades, ambulances, and all other essentials were called to the spot. The power supply was cut by the BSES.
The Delhi Police further informed that, all other necessary safety steps were taken. The building consists of a basement and four stories. No injury or loss of life or property has been reported so far.
In a tragic incident on August 20, there has been a building collapse in Delhi in which as many as three people have been killed. The incident has taken place under Daryaganj Police Station limits.

Further reports added, Civic authorities, including DDMA, have been informed and rescue efforts are underway. Legal action will be taken after verification of facts, the Delhi Police said.
Earlier on in July 12, a ground-plus-three-storey building collapsed at Seelampur in Delhi. According to initial reports, at least four people have been rescued from the debris and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Upon getting the information, Seven fire tenders reached at the site to carry out rescue and relief operations.
