Kolkata: In a shocking incident, a woman tricked her husband into selling his kidney for their daughter’s education but later did something that is unbelievable. She took the money and eloped with her lover.
This incident has created shock across neighboring areas. People cannot believe that such an incident can take place. The incident has been reported from Sankrail in Howrah district of West Bengal.
She allegedly forced her husband to sell his kidney for Rs. 10 lakh to save money for their daughter’s education and marriage. She insisted on him resting. One day as she did not come back home her husband was shocked to find the entire amount missing.
He then complained to the police. She was traced to Barrackpore area where she was allegedly living with her lover whom she had met on a popular social media platform. But, when her husband and daughter went to get her she refused to come out of the house.
She told the police that she was being tortured by her husband and in-laws and that she wanted to leave since a long time. The police has launched a detailed investigation into the matter.
