Banks To Remain Closed For 4 Consecutive Days From Today, Check Details

Attention bank customers, if you have any work in the banks and you are thinking to visit any nearby banks today or for the next 3 days, then you should postpone your plan, as the banks all over India will remain closed for 4 consecutive days from today that is March 13, 2021.

The first two days i.e March 13 and March 14 will be closed as it is second Saturday and Sunday and the remaining two days, the banks will be closed as the bank union has called for a 2-day nation-wide strike.

Nine Bank unions of the umbrella body of Union Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) have called for a two-day nationwide strike on March 15 and March 16 to protest against the proposed privatisation of two major public sector banks (PSBs) by the central government.

Nearly 10 lakh bank employees and officers will participate in the two-days nationwide strike.

The nine bank unions of the UFBU are All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA), All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC), National Confederation of Bank Employees (NCBE), All India Bank Officers’ Association (AIBOA) and Bank Employees Confederation of India (BEFI), Indian National Bank Employees Federation (INBEF), Indian National Bank Officers Congress (INBOC), National Organisation of Bank Workers (NOBW) and National Organisation of Bank Officers (NOBO).

If you wish to do any bank transaction during this time then you can do it using net banking and mobile banking without visiting the bank.

The banks will also remain closed across India from March 27 to March 30 as it is fourth Saturday, Sunday, Holi, and Bhai Dooj.
