Bollywood actress Ananya Panday was questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Thursday in connection with the Aryan Khan case. During the probe the actress apparently agreed to arranging drugs for the 23-year-old.
According to the sources, the NCB has recovered chat messages exchanged between Ananya and Aryan, in which the were discussing of procuring drugs. Reportedly, the officials have informed that at one point in the conversation between the two star kids, Aryan was asking Ananya if there could be some ‘jugaad’ to arrange contraband.
To this, Ananya Panday replied, “I will arrange”.
When NCB showed the chats to Ananya during the interrogation, she responded, “I was joking.”
Apparently the 22-year-old actress reached the NCB office with her father Chunky Panday, where he was asked to sit outside while Ananya was being questioned. As per the reports, she was so nervous that she even cried infront of her father before the investigation began.
Ananya told to NCB that she had studied with Aryan at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School. Even Suhana Khan is also a very close friend to her, and that they are all family friends. Whenever the get time, they hang out together.
During the first round of the interrogation, regarding the chats on drugs, Ananya told to NCB that the chats are very old and that she hardly remember the conversation. However, she has never consumed drugs, or supplied anyone. She also said that in the discussion she meant cigarettes and not weed.
Moreover, Ananya told to NCB officials that she did not know that weed is also a drug, and that chats was about cigarettes and not drugs.
A team of NCB officials reached Ananya and Chunky Panday’s residence in Mumbai to summon the actress for questioning. Although the probe went on for about 2 hours in the evening, she has again been called for questioning, today.
According to NCB, no such evidence has been found so far against Ananya Panday that would indicate her of arranging any drugs for Aryan Khan. Apart from this, there have been many conversations between the two regarding drugs and contraband.
