Amarnath Yatra to resume after 2 years, security measures taken for peaceful conduct: CRPF

New Delhi: Amarnath Yatra, which bears much importance for Hindu pilgrims, is going to resume after a gap of two years. The Yatra had been suspended for two years in 2021 and 2022 in the wake of Covid 19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, today CRPF informed that all security measures have been taken for peaceful conduct of Amarnath Yatra.

“Amarnath Yatra is going to resume after a gap of 2 years. CRPF has an important role to play in the security of the devotees. All security measures have been taken in order to conduct the Amarnath Yatra peacefully: MS Bhatia, IG Kashmir OPS, Sector CRPF,” ANI said in a tweet on Wednesday.
