Amarnath Yatra: five pilgrims injured after truck rams into car
Five Amarnath Yatra pilgrims got injured after a truck rammed into their car near near Battal Ballian in Udhampur district.
In a shocking incident, five pilgrims who were on their way to Amarnath Baba Shrine got injured after a truck rammed into their car. The incident reportedly took place near Battal Ballian in Udhampur district, J&K, on Friday morning.
“The car was carrying eight people of whom five were injured. They were shifted to a hospital and their condition is stable,” said Kartar Singh of CRPF 137 Bn, Udhampur.
Meanwhile Landslide occurred along the Baltal route of Amarnath Yatra due to incessant rains in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. One woman pilgrim died while 8 others have sustained injuries due to mudslide in the Baltal route in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Also At least 10 pilgrims returning from Amarnath Yatra were injured after the bus they were travelling in met with an accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on July 13 afternoon.
