All-party meet over Pulwama terror attack at 11 am today

New Delhi: The all-party meeting on Pulwama terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir state, which had been convened by Home Minister Rajnath Singh yesterday will be held in Parliament library here today.

The meeting will start at around 11 am, during which the government will apprise the members of the attending party on the plot of the attack and the steps being taken by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in connection with the case.

It is also expected that, the government will fix its next course of action in the case after a discussion with all parties in the presence of Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

Similarly, India has started its diplomatic efforts to isolate Pakistan on the international forum and as a part of it foreign secretary Vijay Gokhale met envoys of the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council (P5) — US, China, Russia, the UK and France — as well as key countries in Europe and Asia yesterday.

Notably, the decision to convene the all-party meeting was taken at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday.
