Kolkata: Atleast seven people have been killed and several injured after a massive explosion in a bomb-making factory in West Bengal’s East Midnapore district on Tuesday.
The injured individuals have been transferred to a nearby hospital, where they are said to be in critical condition.
Report says, the blast took place at an illegal firecracker unit located in Egra in Purba Medinipur district.
According to officials the impact of the explosion “was so massive” that the factory collapsed.
An investigation is underway.
