7 charred to death in Indore’s massive fire outbreak

Indore: Atleast 7 people have lost their lives in a massive fire outbreak at Indore’s Swarna Bagh colony during the early morning hours of Saturday. So far, 9 people have been rescued by the police.

According to reports, the incident took place around 3.30 am in the morning. The exact reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained, although it is suspected that the fire broke out due to electric shot circuit.

It took around 3 hours for the fire department to get the fire under control, a fire official said.

Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan announces an ex-gratia of Rs 4 Lakhs each for kins of the deceased in Indore fire incident. The CM also orders a probe into the incident and strict action against those found to be negligent.
