405 Indian citizens stranded at Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur Airport evacuated

New Delhi: Living no stone unturned to save its citizens Indian Govt has successfully evacuated its citizens who were stranded in Malaysia. At least 405 Indian citizens were evacuated today who were stuck in Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) due to the coronavirus pandemic.

As per reports, the stranded citizens were repatriated using AirAsia flights and brought to Delhi and Vizag.

High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur tweeted: “Thanks @AirAsia for flying out 405 stranded Indians transiting thru KLIA in Spl flights to Delhi and Vizag today. Kudos to @hcikl officials for working tirelessly since yesterday to make it happen. @MalaysiaMFA @PMOIndia @MEAIndia.”

The nationals were stranded after the Indian Government banned the entry of passengers from affected countries, including Afghanistan, the Philippines and Malaysia.

    Hi, everyone need all of your concern we Malaysian citizen still here . Only 100+ of them back to Malaysia.
    I Have small children not enough milk powder can anyone do something to get back us. Need help please . My flight actually is on 21st March 2020 Indigo has been cancelled our flight, when I contact the indigo they only say that your flight is been cancelled please get back your refund. In this situation I need to go back Malaysia please help us And all of them here Tq
