3 Suspected Men With Islamic State Links Arrested In Srinagar

Srinagar: The Special Cell of Delhi Police in a joint venture with Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested three suspected terrorists with Islamic State wing in Kashmir on Sunday. The Police also seized hand grenades and weapons from them. As per reports, the three arrested men were planning a terror attack in the national capital.

According to Police, the suspected terrorists were arrested near a Tourist Information Centre in Kothibagh near Srinagar. While one hails from Tral in Kashmir, the other two are from Budgam. Three hand grenades and two pistols were recovered from them.

The three men are being questioned by the Police who are interrogating them to find out the real plan and the source of the weapons. Notably, the arrest comes days after Police sounded an alert in Delhi and released photographs of two alleged Jaish-e-Mohammed operatives who are planning to carry out a terror attack in the city.
