Visakhapatnam: As many as three air-conditioned coaches of the Korba-Visakhapatnam Express Train caught fire on Sunday morning in Andhra Pradesh. The incident occurred moments after the train reached Visakhapatnam railway station.
According to reports, the fire started near the A1 coach, and passengers quickly raised alarm. On receiving information, railways officials immediately rushed to the scene and evacuated everyone from the train safely. The blaze spread to three coaches.
Fortunately, no passengers were harmed in the incident while the fire was doused by the fire service personnel. Meanwhile, the actual cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
