New-Delhi: In a horrific incident, a two-month old baby was found dead inside a microwave oven in the Chirag Dilli area of south Delhi, according to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (South).
The infant was spotted inside the microwave oven by the neighbour, informed Commissioner of police.
The infant parents Gulshan Kaushik and Dimple Kaushik, are being interrogated at the police station and further investigation is underway, said Commissioner of police.
We got the information about the death of the baby at around 3.15 pm and all the possible angles are being examined, informed Commissioner.
The infant was born in January this year and the mother Dimple are quite upset since her birth and even fought with her husband regarding it.
While giving this information, the neighbour told the police that Dimple had allegedly locked herself in the house, post which the mother-in-law raised an alarm.
The neighbour said that after they broke the glass and entered the room, they found the mother lying unconscious with the son, while the infant was missing. The mother-in-law along with some other people searched the entire house and allegedly found the baby inside a microwave oven, which was in a room on the second floor of their house.
